Our roots began when a family of nomads settled down in Meknassi, Tunisia, not far from the desert, around the year 1860. Born farmers, our great-grand-parents had the passion for planting Chemlali olive trees, known worldwide for their superior quality and medicinal virtues. Throughout generations, our olive trees have thrived despite the colonization, the world wars, the sand tempests and the frequent droughts, due to our love and care. Our forefathers taught us how to honor and care for our land and trees. Beyond this great legacy, they also handed down their expertise in harvesting and processing our olives, well-kept for years now. The special extraction process they taught us preserves all the health benefits and produces a high quality & delicious oil that is distinguishable by its smooth, buttery flavor. Aware of the value of this heritage and responsibility towards our great-grand fathers, we are committed to honoring their legacy and continue to work hard to produce the finest oil.
