Confident about our olive oil quality, we are proud to be certified by “ECO-CERT organic” label. With nearly 30 years of experience for audit and certification of organic products in France and in more than 130 countries, ECOCERT is the world's leading specialist in the certification of sustainable practices. As a matter of fact, the entire supply chain is audited-from the raw material to the finished product. ECOCERT carries out at least one annual on-site inspection supplemented by additional unannounced audits during the year. Samples may also be taken for laboratory analysis. The audit reports are then independently verified by teams in order to certify organic products. This certification guarantees environmentally friendly production and processing processes respecting also human health, responsible use of natural resources, and absence of petrochemical ingredient.
Besides “ECO-CERT organic” label, we are proud to raise USDA organic label as well. Indeed, U.S Department of Agriculture, the highest instance in the American States in regards with farms production and conservation, describe organic agriculture as the application of a set of cultural, biological, and mechanical practices that support the cycling of on-farm resources, promote ecological balance, and conserve biodiversity. These include maintaining or enhancing soil and water quality; conserving wetlands, woodlands, and wildlife; and avoiding use of synthetic fertilizers, sewage sludge, irradiation, and genetic engineering.
Based on that, organic products must be produced using agricultural production practices that foster resource cycling, promote ecological balance, maintain and improve soil and water quality, minimize the use of synthetic materials, and conserve biodiversity.
